Why Blog in Biology?

Blogging is becoming a very prominent form of social media in today's technological world. Tons of people have blogs and you can find almost anybody out there. In the same way that email became a classroom commodity, blogs are now rising up to power in schools. It is a great way to connect and share information, and could soon become an integral part of high school curriculum.

My goal for this blog is to use it to show informative and interesting information in the world of science and biology, and to possibly connect with other biology students around the country or possibly around the globe.

Since students now use the internet in almost every subject, it makes sense to start using an online format to present our work.
I am excited to start blogging :)
